i’m glad you’re all safe from mother nature’s recent tirade. its crazy- richmond, the area of colorado that we almost moved to, and peru, were all hit by earthquakes within a 36 hour period. there’s also the hurricane which pummeled my parents’ house, only two blocks north of the evacuation line on the south shore of long island. here, it’s been sunny, earthquake-free, and in the 70s every single day without exception. there were a few days that the max temp was 70, which made my coworker erupt into a sneezing fit. he explained that he always catches a cold “whenever the weather gets like this.”

you guys may have noticed i’ve been kind of absent from the internet lately. i’ve been keeping up on reading your posts, but i’ve been borrowing a slow and sporadic wifi signal from my neighbor because i can’t afford internet. i’ve also been going through this period of… i don’t even know. i think i just need to experience it before i can really talk about it like i know what i’m talking about. i’ve been able to share my life with the visitors we’ve had since we’ve moved here, but i think attempting to do that solely through little blurbs on the internet is beyond futile at the point i’m at right now. in the meantime, but maybe i’ll post pictures and write you guys more letters. i’ll actually send them this time, too.
